Mt 10:34-11:1

Jesus said to his Apostles: “Do not think that I have come to bring peace upon the earth. I have come to bring not peace but the sword. For I have come to set
a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law; and one’s enemies will be those of his household.
“Whoever loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me, and whoever loves son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me; and whoever does not take up his cross and follow after me is not worthy of me. Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.
“Whoever receives you receives me, and whoever receives me receives the one who sent me. Whoever receives a prophet because he is a prophet will receive a prophet’s reward, and whoever receives a righteous man
because he is righteous will receive a righteous man’s reward. And whoever gives only a cup of cold water
to one of these little ones to drink because he is a disciple–amen, I say to you, he will surely not lose his reward.”
When Jesus finished giving these commands to his Twelve disciples, he went away from that place to teach and to preach in their towns.

 

이 작은 이들 가운데 한 사람에게 그가 제자라서 시원한 물 한 잔이라도 마시게 하는 이는 자기가 받을 상을 결코 잃지 않을 것이다.” (마태 10,42)

 

너희 자신을 씻어 깨끗이 하여라. (이사 1,16)

 

선행을 배워라. 공정을 추구하고 억압받는 이를 보살펴라. 고아의 권리를 되찾아 주고 과부를 두둔해 주어라. (이사 1,17)

 

행복하여라, 의로움 때문에 박해를 받는 사람들! 하늘 나라가 그들의 것이다. (마태 5,10)

 

주님 제단 곁에 참새도 집을 짓고, 제비도 둥지를 틀어 거기에 새끼를 치나이다. 만군의 주님, 저의 임금님, 저의 하느님! 행복하옵니다, 당신 집에 사는 이들! 그들은 영원토록 당신을 찬양하리이다. (시편 84,4-5 참조)

 

하느님, 길 잃은 사람들에게 진리의 빛을 비추시어 올바른 길로 돌아오게 하시니 그리스도를 주님으로 고백하는 모든 이가 그 믿음에 어긋나는 것을 버리고 올바로 살아가게 하소서.

 

주님을 믿는 이들에게 성덕을 더해 주소서.

 

나날이 구원의 은혜를 누리게 하소서.
