매일미사 성 바르톨로메오 사도 축일

Jn 1:45-51

Philip found Nathanael and told him, “We have found the one about whom Moses wrote in the law, and also the prophets, Jesus son of Joseph, from Nazareth.”
But Nathanael said to him, “Can anything good come from Nazareth?”
Philip said to him, “Come and see.”
Jesus saw Nathanael coming toward him and said of him, “Here is a true child of Israel. There is no duplicity in him.”
Nathanael said to him, “How do you know me?”
Jesus answered and said to him, “Before Philip called you, I saw you under the fig tree.”
Nathanael answered him, “Rabbi, you are the Son of God; you are the King of Israel.”
Jesus answered and said to him, “Do you believe because I told you that I saw you under the fig tree? You will see greater things than this.”
And he said to him, “Amen, amen, I say to you, you will see heaven opened and the angels of God ascending and descending on the Son of Man.”

 

“보라, 저 사람이야말로 참으로 이스라엘 사람이다. 저 사람은 거짓이 없다.” (요한 1,47)

 

그 도성의 성벽에는 열두 초석이 있는데, 그 위에는 어린양의 열두 사도 이름이 하나씩 적혀 있었습니다. (묵시 21,14)

 

주님은 가시는 길마다 의로우시고, 하시는 일마다 진실하시네. 주님은 당신을 부르는 모든 이에게, 진실하게 부르는 모든 이에게 가까이 계시네. (시편 145,17-18)

 

주님, 복된 바르톨로메오 사도가 오롯한 믿음으로 성자를 따르게 하셨으니 저희에게도 굳센 믿음을 주시어 그의 전구로 주님의 교회가 모든 민족들에게 구원의 성사가 되게 하소서.

 

현세에서 올바로 살아 미래의 영광에 이르게 하소서.

예수님을 옆에서 보고 들은 제자들은 처음에는 나약한 존재였으나 나중에는 예수님을 본받아 목숨까지 바쳐 복음을 전파하였습니다. 그런 제자들의 모습에서 희망을 봅니다.
