Lk 4:16-30

Jesus came to Nazareth, where he had grown up, and went according to his custom into the synagogue on the sabbath day.

He stood up to read and was handed a scroll of the prophet Isaiah.
He unrolled the scroll and found the passage where it was written: The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to bring glad tidings to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim liberty to captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to let the oppressed go free, and to proclaim a year acceptable to the Lord.
Rolling up the scroll, he handed it back to the attendant and sat down, and the eyes of all in the synagogue looked intently at him.
He said to them, “Today this Scripture passage is fulfilled in your hearing.”
And all spoke highly of him and were amazed at the gracious words that came from his mouth.
They also asked, “Is this not the son of Joseph?”
He said to them, “Surely you will quote me this proverb, ‘Physician, cure yourself,’ and say, ‘Do here in your native place the things that we heard were done in Capernaum.’”
And he said, “Amen, I say to you, no prophet is accepted in his own native place.
Indeed, I tell you, there were many widows in Israel in the days of Elijah when the sky was closed for three and a half years and a severe famine spread over the entire land.
It was to none of these that Elijah was sent, but only to a widow in Zarephath in the land of Sidon.
Again, there were many lepers in Israel during the time of Elisha the prophet; yet not one of them was cleansed, but only Naaman the Syrian.”
When the people in the synagogue heard this, they were all filled with fury.
They rose up, drove him out of the town, and led him to the brow of the hill on which their town had been built, to hurl him down headlong.
But he passed through the midst of them and went away.

 

그러나 예수님께서는 그들 한가운데를 가로질러 떠나가셨다. (루카 4,30)

 

나의 말과 나의 복음 선포는 지혜롭고 설득력 있는 언변으로 이루어진 것이 아니라, 성령의 힘을 드러내는 것으로 이루어졌습니다. 여러분의 믿음이 인간의 지혜가 아니라 하느님의 힘에 바탕을 두게 하려는 것이었습니다. (1코린 2,4-5)

 

당신을 부르는 모든 이에게 자애가 넘치시나이다. (시편 86,5)

 

주님, 당신을 경외하는 이들 위해 간직하신 그 선하심, 얼마나 크시옵니까! (시편 31,20 참조)

 

모든 선의 근원이신 하느님, 저희에게 하느님을 사랑하는 마음을 심으시어 생생한 믿음으로 은총의 씨앗이 자라나 하느님의 도우심으로 좋은 열매를 맺게 하소서.

 

주님의 영이 내린 예수님을 제대로 받아들이려면, 그분을 바라보는 우리에게도 성령의 힘이 내려야 합니다. 우리의 믿음은 인간의 지혜가 아니라 하느님의 힘에 바탕을 두고 있기 때문입니다. 뛰어난 말이나 지혜로 하느님의 신비를 선포하기에 앞서, 그 말씀의 신비를 깨우칠 수 있는 성령의 힘을 청합시다.
